The Smile Team Dental Practice

The Smile Team Dental Practice is a friendly and caring practice located in Finchley. Having been established for over 30 years they pride themselves on the longevity of their dentists, staff and patients; which is a testament to the team they have created. The dentists attend regular courses together as a team to encourage group learning and communication. It allows them to introduce the latest techniques and equipment when conducting procedures. The Practice offers general routine dental checks for the majority of their patients, but also offer Endodontics, Implants, Periodontology checks and Invisalign all from within their practice.

The Practice is owned by the Principal Dentist, Colin Gaunt (GDC 59159). He has owned the Practice for over 30 years. Owning the practice has been his dream which has stemmed from sitting in the waiting room of his father dental surgery and wondering why patients were so nervous. He was determined to create a practice with an atmosphere that would settle any nervous feelings. 10 years ago Colin decided he needed a new challenge and enrolled on an implant course, he won ‘Best Dentist On the Course’. As a result Colin now offers Implantology as a specialist treatment and has successfully placed implants for many Smile Team patients.

In 1986 The Smile Team started with two surgeries and two dentists, with around 1000 patients, they have grown to 4 surgeries, six dentists and over 20,000 patients. Serving both Private and NHS patients. The Smile Team is currently accepting new patients and trust that you will be pleased with their service. The Smile Team have recently had a new website made. Making learning about the range of treatments offered and getting in touch a lot easier. They also post their price list online, allowing you to conduct research into a specific treatment, without having to call in or visit. They are endeavouring to include an online booking system to make the booking process even easier in the near future.
